Our mission is to celebrate the art of cinematography through a daily puzzle. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the site.

01. Intellectual Property & Fair Use

Flickle is a movie trivia game meant for educational and entertainment purposes.

The Game Code: The design, source code, and mechanics of Flickle are owned by the developer and protected by copyright laws.

The Game Assets: The still images, actor headshots, and filmography data used in our various challenges (Classic, Cast, Timeline) belong to their respective production companies, distributors, and databases.

Fair Use Notice:We use low-resolution still frames strictly for the purpose of identification, critique, and trivia commentary in a transformative context. We believe this constitutes "Fair Use" under copyright law. If you are a copyright holder and have concerns, please contact us.

02. User Conduct

When playing our daily movie puzzle, you agree not to:

  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated scripts to harvest game data.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer the hidden movie of the day.
  • Disrupt the service for other users.

03. Disclaimer of Warranties

Flickle is provided on an "as is" basis. We try to keep our wordle for movies experience bug-free, but we make no warranties regarding:

  • The accuracy of the movie data or release years.
  • Uninterrupted service or server uptime.
  • The preservation of your "streak" or stats (which are stored locally on your device).

04. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms as we add new features or expand our game modes (such as Flickle Cast and Flickle Timeline). Continued use of the site signifies your acceptance of any changes.
